Zara chose Aupark for its Slovakian premiere
The extension of the popular shopping centre will be opened in August this year already
The world famous brand Zara is coming to Slovakia. It has chosen the extension of the shopping centre Aupark for its premiere. Besides the brand Zara, the Spanish company Inditex Group brings along three other of its brands – Pull and Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius. Each of them will have its own individual store. The opening of the Aupark extension is planned for August this year.
The Aupark extension will be dominated by the store of the German chain Peek & Cloppenburg. They have chosen this shopping centre in Bratislava as their “flagship” in the Central-European region. With three floors and an area of five thousand square meters, it will offer men’s, women’s and children’s department with a wide variety of world brand names. H&M Hennes&Mauritz and C&A chain brand stores will also not be missing in Aupark. Both shops will be multi-floor and will be located on two storeys. The H&M company will occupy 1,500 square meters, the C&A brand will take up 2,200 square meters.
The premises of the NEXT brand store, currently located in the ground floor of Aupark, will move to the first floor of the new building. The recently mentioned eight stores will occupy approximately four fifths of the extended part of Aupark. The new part totals to around 14,400 square meters. “We will let the remaining premises in such a way as to offer our customers an optimized mix of additional brands and services” says Robert Kantor, the general manager of Aupark. The construction works on the extension of the shopping and entertainment centre Aupark have begun in January of last year. The gross lettable area of the shopping centre will rise to 58,000 square meters.
The developer of Aupark is HB Reavis Group which has been in the Slovak real estate market for 14 years. Besides the Aupark extension the Group is also preparing the opening of City Business Center office complex and the construction of Apollo Business Center II which is currently the largest office building in Central Europe. This year, HB Reavis Group will also begin works on the multifunctional project Twin City amounting to 17 billion Slovak Crowns.
