The largest real-estate project marked Twin City
A billion Slovak Crown integrated bus-terminal to be part of the project

Culture, entertainment, shopping, offices, hotel and exclusive apartments. All this is the span of the project named Twin City, whose developer is HB Reavis Group. This multifunctional complex will be erected at the bounds between Bratislava’s Old Town and Ruzinov districts. The total investment cost representing approximately 17 billion Slovak Crowns make Twin City project the most distinct real estate development act not only in Slovakia, but in the whole Central and East European region. A new and progressive bus terminal amounting to 1 billion Slovak Crowns will be an integral part of Twin City and will replace the existing outdated passenger premises.

Twin City will create a building complex dominated by a 42 storey tower. The total Gross Lettable Area of Twin City will exceed 200.000 square meters. Nearly half of this area will be comprised of shopping, relax and entertainment premises. 60.000 square meters are reserved for highest class office spaces and a 4 star hotel fitted with top-class equipment. 320 high standard apartments complement the whole concept.

First works on Twin City will start as soon as spring 2007. Clearing works on the southern side of the project, where nowadays stands the abandoned Kablo factory, will be in place from April 2007. Also the construction works on the new bus terminal with a total area of 45.000 square meters will start in the course of this year. Yet the passengers will not experience any restrictions during the course of construction of the new bus terminal. As agreed with the local authorities part of the platforms will be moved to the immediate vicinity of the current bus terminal during the temporary traffic organisation change. The commencement of the construction works is planned for 2008 and the grand opening of Twin City is intended for 2011.
