HB Reavis Group besides Prague project acquires an office project also in Warsaw
Leading Slovak developer states its position on the Polish real-estate market with the acquisition of a site in the office building project in the Warsaw district of Mokotow.
Bratislava, 8 November 2010 – HB Reavis Group announced the conclusion of the real-estate acquisition of the office building project on Konstruktorska street in the Warsaw district of Mokotow, part Sluzewiec. Upon signing the acquisition it acquired a strategically crucial plot in an attractive office zone. The important developer group, Acciona Real Estate from Spain, is the selling party. The construction site already has all the valid permits required for the investment plan that is an office building of the highest quality standard. The building will have an ideal rectangular ground plan with an area of approximately 15,900 square meters. The building site is located just two blocks away from the important international E77 access route. Upon completion the modern seven-storey building will provide more than 45,000 square metres of leasable office area.
"Acquiring the project in one of the most dynamically developing locations in Warsaw is our first acquisition in Poland, but it represents our intention to become a respected player on the Polish market of commercial properties. Only three months after the acquisition of the River Garden Office West project in the premium office location of Karlín, Prague, we have strengthened our position in the capital of Poland. We will commence construction in the first quarter of 2011, and the first phase of building will be put into use not later than the end of 2012. We will invest approximately €80 million in the project," explained Roman Karabelli, spokesman of HB Reavis Group.
The modern building will become an integral part of the developing location where many prominent companies such as Generali, AVIVA, mobile carrier PLUS, Pfizer, SAP, Fortis, DnB Nord, TUI, Unilever, PZU, Netia, Abbot, Glaxo, Tebodin SAP and Phillip Morris are located.
